About The Position

Child Health Associates is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our pediatric team in Auburn, MA. As a CMA, you'll work closely with providers, nurses, and fellow clinical staff to support the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Requirements

Current Medical Assistant Certification required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
Positive attitude and commitment to providing compassionate care

Nice To Haves

Pediatric, primary care, or outpatient experience preferred

Responsibilities

Room patients and obtain vital signs, height, weight, and other routine measurements
Perform hearing and vision screenings
Collect specimens and assist with point-of-care testing
Administer clinic-approved medications
Assist providers during examinations and procedures
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
Support laboratory workflows, including specimen processing and test reporting
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and team members to support exceptional patient care
