About The Position

This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant at Rawson Medical Center in Franklin, WI, within the General Surgery department. The position is full-time, day shift, working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, between 7:30 AM and 5 PM. The Medical Assistant will assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties. They will also interview patients to record medical history and measure vital signs, prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, ensure medical supplies are ordered and stocked, and manage clerical tasks such as phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Prior Medical Assistant experience needed.

Responsibilities
