About The Position
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field! This role involves administering misting therapy to patients in their homes, materials management, scribing, performing chart checks, and coordinating skin sweeps. The position requires driving within the Dallas, TX area.
Requirements
- Valid MA Certification
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong awareness of medical terminology
- Strong desire for patient care
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer misting therapy on wound patients
- Order medical supplies
- Scribe for respective doctors
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients
- Coordinate skin sweep scheduling
- Scribe for skin sweeps
- Make initial assessment calls
