About The Position
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This is a full-time position, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The department is a fast-paced clinic with growth and development opportunities, a collaborative work environment, and a focus on patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification
- Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support - 90 days upon hire
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Medical Assistant
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
- Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
- Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
- Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
- May work in the front office as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
