Join our specialized Hematology/Oncology team at Mid Florida Cancer Centers as a Certified Medical Assistant. You will work primarily at our Orange City office providing high-quality clinical care and administrative coordination.
Requirements
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with venipuncture and specimen collection.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.
- EMR Proficiency: 1 Year
- Radiation/Radiology knowledge: 1 year
- Venipuncture: 1 year
- Bilingual: (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Perform frequent venipuncture and specimen collection for oncology patients with high accuracy.
- Assist with patient intake, vitals, and rooming; support providers and staff with other clinical needs.
- Manage patient charts, scan medical records, and monitor daily schedules to ensure a seamless clinic experience.
- Act as a bridge between patients and providers; bilingual candidates will provide essential translation support for our Spanish-speaking patient population.
