Certified Medical Assistant OB/GYN Clinic
About The Position
Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for its OB/GYN clinic. The position assists physicians with patient care and performs clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. It is also responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management, providing patients with information to help them use and benefit from clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization. Southern Regional Medical Center is a non-profit, 331-bed full-service hospital serving Clayton County and southern crescent metro Atlanta communities. It is a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation and provides a range of services, including Women’s Health Services and a Level III NICU.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience, required for new hires effective April 2014.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- At least one year of work experience in a public-contact job.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Work experience in health care preferred.
