Certified Medical Assistant
About The Position
Miller Vein is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant who loves to help people and wants to be part of something bigger than themselves. This role requires an active Certified Medical Assistant license. The position involves making tumescent for procedures, charting orders for external referrals and prescriptions, performing patient intake (pictures, vitals, measurements, history), assisting the physician during venous procedures, charting patient visits including procedure documentation, ordering medical supplies, assisting the front desk with check-in/check-out, and general cleaning and stocking duties. The estimated pay range is $18-20/hour.
Requirements
- Active Certified Medical Assistant license
Responsibilities
- Make tumescent for procedures
- Chart orders for external referrals and prescriptions
- Perform intake (pictures, vitals, measurements, history) and physical exam
- Assist physician during venous procedures
- Charting of patient visits, including procedure documentation
- Order medical supplies
- Assist front desk (check-in/check-out)
- Cleaning, stocking, and assisting all other position as needed
