About The Position
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This is a full-time position working 40 hours weekly, Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm. The clinic specializes in breast and soft tissue melanomas and is patient satisfaction oriented. Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus. The work location is 8160 Walnut Hill Lane - Suite 306, Dallas, TX 75231, with some travel to 2 satellite offices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
- Back Office clinical experience (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Blood Drawing experience (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
- Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
- Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
- Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
- May work in the front office as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
