About The Position

We are hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Wellness Preventive Care department at IPS Julian Avenue in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves assisting providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms, and streamlining clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories. The position also includes transcribing provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision, and managing essential administrative duties such as medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management for seamless clinic operations.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
