About The Position

This is a fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top-skilled Certified Medical Assistant. The work location is 2000 Cooper Street - Suite 120 Fort Worth, TX 76104. The work hours are Full-time; 40 hours weekly; Monday - Friday (8am-5pm). This role is within a Family Care Clinic that offers no weekends and a collaborative work environment with opportunity for yearly bonuses.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED)
BCLS upon hire (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

NCT - Non-certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)
Willing to consider a new CMA that has completed an Externship
1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
May work in the front office as needed
May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
