About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a fast-paced, high-volume family care clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. This full-time role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The position delivers patient care using the Certified Medical Assistant Process, with patient checkout, surgery scheduling, and postoperative calls as primary functions. The CMA also communicates test results and care plans as directed by a physician, supports patient safety and privacy, and may assist in the front office. Sign-on bonuses are available for eligible new hires. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Medical Assistant certification.
BCLS within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
NCT certification, which may be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process.
Conduct patient checkout, surgery scheduling, and postoperative calls as primary functions of the position.
Communicate with patients regarding test results and the plan of care by phone or mail as directed by a physician.
Provide for patient safety and protect patient privacy rights.
Work in the front office as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the practice manager or more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare providers.
