About The Position
Responsible for rendering clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physician. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day to day operation of this office to ensure quality patient care. Clinical care will include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Healthcare Provider (CPR)
- CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), or CMAC (AMCA) certification
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.
- Cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders, and medical orders to be communicated to patients, hospitals, and/or other physicians.
- Sense of discipline to work by accepted clinical standards.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience of performing x-rays and EKG
- Six months experience
