About The Position
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for their Orthopedic Clinic in Cass City, MI. This is a full-time, day shift position with full benefits. Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Physician’s office
- Great attitude and engages patients with a smile
- Team player and problem solver
- Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with all physicians.
Nice To Haves
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care tasks such as rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.
- Assist the provider as necessary.
- Utilize the EMR system.
- Register patients.
- Verify insurance.
- Scan medical records.
- Phone patients with results.
- Maintain proper medical documentation.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care to all ages.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
