About The Position

Royal Life Centers is a nationally recognized substance abuse treatment company with facilities in Arizona and Washington. Our primary mission is to provide quality and individualist substance abuse treatment at all levels of care. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant (MA) at our Lacey, WA location. This is a PRN position available on Mondays from 8 am to 6 pm. We welcome new graduates and are willing to train.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Medical Assistant Experience
• Must be able to administer medication
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must be a good communicator and present self appropriately and professionally to all staff, guests, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with clients, clinical staff and medical staff.
• Assist in the self-administration of medications to clients.
• Manage accurate medication stock and MAR’s.
• Plan and coordinate client care.
• Document in an electronic medical record system care given.
• Implement appropriate interventions as needed based on doctors’ direction.
• Ensure medication and refills are provided on a daily basis with all Residential guests.
• Med Room audits and compliance required.
