About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician. The CMA also handles clerical duties as needed to support departmental operations and efficiency. The role is in podiatry and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation certificate from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to consistently follow established workflows.

Nice To Haves

• Prior CMA experience.
• CPR certification.
