About The Position

Trios Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a PRN position. This role is vital in supporting physicians and nurses with patient assessments, treatments, and basic diagnostic procedures. The CMA will monitor patient conditions, document care, manage supplies and equipment, and maintain examination areas. Administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and data entry are also part of the role. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current Washington CMA License
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
Documents patient care given.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
Maintains examination areas.
Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
