About The Position

Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Roger Main Building in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for their Endocrinology specialty. This PRN position requires a minimum of 2-3 days per week and involves preparing patients for examinations, assisting physicians with procedures, recording vital signs and medical histories, managing clinical logistics, and performing clerical duties. The role is crucial in ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate record-keeping within the clinic.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Reliable transportation to travel to all Ascension campuses.
