Requirements

Experience working in a procedural setting.
Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied tasks.
Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and pitching in wherever needed.
Valid and Current Medical Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities

Assist with outpatient interventional radiology procedures in an office setting.
Perform minimally invasive procedures on awake patients with fluoro imaging.
Conduct standard pre-op checks and questions.
Assist in the procedure room during a 1-2 hour procedure.
Monitor patients in post-op for approximately 30 minutes.
Rotate through pre-op/post-op and procedure room positions.
Manage charting, check vitals, and communicate with patients.
Open sterile supplies in the procedure room.
Adapt to changing tasks and needs of the situation.
Take ownership of tasks and contribute to team goals.
