About The Position

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Satellite Infusion Clinic team. In this role, you’ll support both clinical and administrative functions in a patient-centered, fast-paced environment, helping ensure a seamless experience for patients receiving infusion services. Requirements

• Active Medical Assistant Certification/Registry (required)
• BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and vital signs
• Prepare patients for exams and treatments
• Assist providers during procedures and infusion-related care
• Administer medications as directed
• Collect and process lab specimens
• Provide patient education and support treatment plans
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record
• Support front office workflows, including patient check-in and communication
