About The Position

SMG Family Medicine Williamsburg is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant. This role involves performing patient care and administrative/clerical tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with a shift time of 8a to 4:30p. Floating when needed, with mileage reimbursement offered. Certification is required at hire.

Requirements

Less than a year of related experience required
High School Diploma OR equivalency required
Certified Medical Assistant OR Registered Medical Assistant OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant OR Certified EMT (EMT-B) on the first day of employment
BLS within 90 days of hire date

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
