About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Certified Medical Assistant at an Advanced OBGYN practice. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Successful completion of at least one of the following: a medical assisting education program accredited by CAAHEP, ABHES, or any US Department of Education recognized agency; a CTE Health Sciences Program approved by the SC Department of Education; a medical assisting program provided by a branch of the US military; a medical assisting US Department of Labor-approved Registered Apprenticeship program; or a training program delivered by a healthcare employer aligning to a nationally accredited certification exam (must be completed within 90-day probationary period).
• Post high school/medical studies with certifications as Medical Assistant (AAMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMMA) required.
• Must obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must hold and maintain active certification or registry in medical assisting.
