This role assists in providing clinical care to office patients under the delegation of a supervising provider. The Certified Medical Assistant will manage the provider's daily schedule and patient flow to ensure efficient care and maximize clinical time. Responsibilities include greeting and escorting patients, taking vital signs, inputting clinical information into the electronic health record, and assisting clinicians with procedures. The role also involves preparing and maintaining exam rooms, managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment, and administering routine injections under supervision. Continuous learning about community resources and the healthcare system is expected, along with maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Clerical support such as scheduling appointments, registering patients, scanning records, and answering phones is also part of the role. The ability to float to other practices and perform other assigned duties is required.
