Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous medical assistant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and interviewing patients, accurately measuring and documenting vital signs, and preparing examination rooms to ensure a smooth, comfortable visit.
  • Assisting with treatments as directed and supervised by the providers
  • Performing select clinical duties and providing essential administrative support, including managing patient records, answering calls, and handling necessary charting.
  • Documenting provider-patient encounters, meticulously listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.
  • Transcribing patient orders for lab work, testing, and medications.
