This role assists in providing clinical care to office patients as delegated by the supervising provider. The Certified Medical Assistant manages the provider’s daily schedule and patient flow to expedite care and maximize clinical time. Responsibilities include greeting and escorting patients, obtaining vital signs, inputting clinical information into the electronic health record, assisting clinicians with procedures, preparing and maintaining exam rooms, administering routine injections, and providing clerical/office support. The position also involves participating in meetings and trainings, staying current with community resources, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and potentially floating to other MACC practices.
