About The Position

Sentara Urgent Care Little Neck is now hiring a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant Coordinator (Team Lead) in Virginia Beach, VA. The clinic hours are Monday-Friday: 8:00a.m. - 8:00p.m., and Saturday and Sunday: 8am-4pm. Scheduled hours and shifts may vary based on business need and candidates' availability. The Clinical Team Lead collaborates with the Assistant Practice Manager and the Practice Manager to ensure the efficient and effective clinical operations of a practice. This role assumes responsibility and accountability for daily clinical operations, supports employees with solutions for everyday operational needs, and manages multiple projects and performs special work assignments as needed. The Clinical Team Lead will also support Assistant Practice Manager, Practice Manager, Director and other leadership team members as needed, collaborate with cross-departmental/divisional teams to achieve goals, and takes initiative and implements new processes independently. This role acts as a role model for the clinical team and a subject matter expert in clinical areas.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
• Patient Care - 2 years' experience required
• Administrative - 1 year experience required
• Medical Office - 1 year required
