The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will deliver care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant process. This role performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures, greets and prepares patients for the healthcare provider, and obtains and records vital signs. The CMA will communicate with patients regarding test results and the plan of care as directed by the physician, and escalate non-routine issues to the Nurse Manager or healthcare provider(s). This position ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and may perform other duties as assigned.
