About The Position

Millennium Physician Group, part of Mosaic Health, is seeking a PRN Certified Medical Assistant to support our busy 17‑provider practice. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and able to work open shifts during normal business hours. Experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care is a plus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited MA program
• Active CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
• Current BLS certification
• 1+ year CMA experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills and EHR proficiency
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Complete patient intakes, vitals, histories, and medication reviews
• Assist with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing
• Prepare and process lab samples
• Support triage, care coordination, and patient education
• Document in the EHR (Athena preferred)
• Schedule appointments, referrals, and authorizations
• Verify insurance and assist with prior auths and basic billing
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection‑control standards
• Provide professional, compassionate patient service
