About The Position

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/CMA/RMA to join their esteemed Primary Care medical team in Valrico, FL and Sun City Center, FL. The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, well-organized, able to multi-task, and think outside of the box, supporting the initiative of ensuring excellent patient care and customer service. As a Medical Assistant, the role involves direct patient care, ensuring a top-notch patient experience, and assisting in examinations and treatments under the direction of a Physician, ARNP, or PA. This includes collecting patient vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic testing, performing basic medical procedures, and entering data into electronic health records. Millennium Physician Group provides ample training, including classroom and hands-on instruction, covering Electronic Health Records systems, referral processes, and the Patient Portal. Requirements

  • Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
  • All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of EMR systems

Responsibilities
