Requirements

  • CMA certification or active LPN license required
  • Minimum 6 months of medical office experience preferred
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic care environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care

Responsibilities

  • Support clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Obtain vitals, review patient history, and update documentation in the EMR
  • Serve as a clinical liaison between patients and providers
  • Assist with in-office procedures and provider support
  • Process patient communications, e-prescriptions, and follow-up care
  • Coordinate appointments, referrals, diagnostic testing, and surgeries
  • Track test results, medication authorizations, and post-operative care
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms; sterilize equipment per OSHA standards
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and performance improvement
