More about our team At FryeCare Nephrology (formerly Hickory Adult Medicine and Kidney Specialists) our highly skilled physician and staff specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of both chronic and acute diseases of the kidney. We treat each patient as an individual and are dedicated to combining clinical expertise, a focus on wellness and a personalized touch to provide each patient with the best possible care plan. We are dedicated to delivering quality health care to our patients and have extensive training in kidney disorders and minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat kidney disease. We are a proud member of the FryeCare Physicians Network and are affiliated with Frye Regional Medical Center. FryeCare Nephrology offers treatment for: Chronic kidney disease, including diabetic nephropathy Chronic kidney failure Diabetes End-stage kidney disease Hypertension Nephrology services we provide include: Diagnoses and treatment of a variety of rheumatic diseases including: Comprehensive blood and urine analysis Kidney transplantation referral Management of electrolyte derangements Pre-dialysis evaluation How you’ll contribute A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), who excels in this role:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately identifies patient needs
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
