About The Position

The Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs various clinical and administrative duties operating interdependently as part of the clinical team focused on delivering patient-centered quality care to Matthew 25 patients. Matthew 25 has been recognized as a top workplace 3 years in a row. Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant/ Registered Medical Assistant
  • Associates of Applied Science Degree obtained through a CAAHEP-accredited college program.

  • Flexibility, as our services are available to a large geographic area in the state of Kentucky, which may require some travel
  • Valid Driver’s License with at least three (3) years driving experience and less than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background test.
  • Must be able to communicate in both written and verbal form
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to write routine documentation and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Intermediate computer skills are essential in use of an electronic medical record.
  • Must be detail oriented, have ability to multi-task and possess great interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks/skills with proficiency and accuracy ie: vaccine administration
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in documenting in EHR
  • Contribute to a positive health care experience for patients utilizing the framework of DEI
  • Use a collaborative approach with providers and other care team members to provide patient centered care, and ensure patient safety and well-being
