About The Position

Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for their Physician Services department. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 3 x 12-hour shifts. The role involves performing routine clinical and administrative duties to support the assigned area or office. The hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility serving Maysville and surrounding communities, offering a comprehensive range of services and committed to high-quality, compassionate care.

Requirements

• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required.
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR).
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections.
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.
