About The Position

Trios Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for their FM Residency program. This role is vital in supporting physicians and nurses in patient care, performing basic diagnostic procedures, collecting specimens, and monitoring patient conditions. The CMA will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, managing examination areas, and performing administrative duties. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Washington CMA License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
