About The Position

Monarch Communities/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Certified Med Tech for part-time and full-time shifts from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. or 3 p.m.–11 p.m. The role provides medication assistance and resident care while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity. The position pays $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Current New Jersey Medication Aid Certification.
• New Jersey CNA or HHA Certification.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, a hospital, or a long-term care environment.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Ability to perform the described physical activities, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittently lifting and supporting residents; proper body mechanics are required.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication and maintain related medical records under RN supervision.
• Complete required annual medication training in accordance with state requirements.
• Provide resident care in accordance with each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Maintain residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.
• Attend scheduled in-service training.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and community policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
