About The Position

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is seeking a Certified Med Tech to administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents, maintain medical records, and provide resident care. This role requires adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures, while ensuring the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents. The position also involves participating in in-service training and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Current NJ Medication Aid Certification
• NJ CNA or HHA Certification
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care environment
• Able to work weekends

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to resident and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the RN
• Complete required annual medication training, per state requirements
• Provide resident care to ensure care needs are met according to the resident’s care plan
• Maintain medical records and written documentation assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity in the delivery of services to residents
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
