About The Position
Asbury Chandler Estates is seeking a Certified Med Tech to join their team. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and independence. The primary responsibility is to administer medications safely and accurately, following a strict 3-step verification process and ensuring compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors. Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays are crucial for this position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus
- 1 year experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
- Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
- Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
- Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors
