About The Position

Carolina Reserve of Durham is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for medication administration and supervisor-in-charge (SIC). Requirements

Must be 21 years or older
Must complete Supervisor-in-Charge application
Must have current CNA certification or completed PCA training
Must be familiar with state regulations

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Responsibilities

Medication administration
Resident care oversight
Working with state inspections in the survey/monitoring process
Completing 12 hours of continuing education credits annually related to the management of Assisted Living homes and care of geriatric and disabled residents
Expressing self adequately in written and oral communication
Communicating effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members
Working in an environment conducive to caring for seniors
Working well with others and promoting a team environment
