About The Position

Skillforce is hiring Certified Lull Operators for ongoing project work at commercial construction sites in Richmond, VA. As a Certified Lull Operator, you will be responsible for safely lifting, moving, and placing materials across active jobsites, keeping crews supplied, and keeping your equipment inspected and in good working order. If you hold a valid Lull certification and have 2 or more years on commercial sites, apply now!

Requirements

You hold a valid Lull certification.
You have 2 or more years of experience operating a Lull on commercial construction sites.
You have a strong understanding of jobsite safety protocols and equipment operation.
You have your own reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
You can pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
You are authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

3 or more years of experience operating a Lull on commercial construction sites is a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Lull extended-reach forklifts to lift, move, and position materials where they are needed on site.
Complete pre-operational checks and equipment inspections before every shift.
Follow all site safety protocols and regulations to keep yourself and the crew around you safe.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as deliveries come in.
Work with crew members to keep tasks moving and on schedule.
Keep accurate records of equipment usage and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to keep your equipment running efficiently.
