About The Position
Summary: Assists in overseeing and providing a safe environment for patrons and responding to incidents in an efficient and appropriate manner Work Hours: The scheduled work hours for this position vary and are determined by operational needs, facility demands and/or event schedules. Hours may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, applicants should be able to perform each essential duty in an efficient, effective and safe manner. Requirements
- Must be certified or be able to pass certification classes in CPR/First Aid and Lifesaving.
Nice To Haves
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patrons and guests at City owned/operated swimming facilities to ensure safe environment.
- Explain and enforce swimming facility rules and regulations.
