About The Position

This position is for certified lifeguards to ensure the safety of campers (ages 5-11) during swimming activities at a summer camp. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Lifeguard & CPR/First Aid certification required (we will pay for the course through the YMCA)
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check

Nice To Haves

• Previous lifeguard experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise campers in the pool and enforce safety rules
• Be ready to respond to emergencies with first aid, CPR, or rescues
• Help maintain a clean and safe pool environment
• Work with an energetic and supportive summer camp team
