Certified Hyperbaric Technologist/Hyperbaric Safety Director
About The Position
The Certified Hyperbaric Technologist/Safety Director is responsible for overseeing hyperbaric treatments, ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed. This role involves the development, coordination, and implementation of safety and regulatory standards to create a safe environment for therapeutic patient care, in accordance with the Standards of Practice, policies, procedures, and NFPA99. The CHT/Hyperbaric Safety Director acts as the primary resource for staff regarding the safety, maintenance, and system compliance of the hyperbaric program. Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality of patient hyperbaric treatments, staff training and competencies, and adherence to standards of care and safety in treatment delivery, while maintaining patient and environmental safety at all times. Candidates must also complete and pass required medical screening, background checking, and drug testing.
Requirements
- Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification.
- Completion and passing of required medical screening.
- Completion and passing of background checking.
- Completion and passing of drug test.
