Certified Hyperbaric Technologist/Hyperbaric Safety Director
About The Position
The CHT/Safety Director Certified Hyperbaric Technologist/Safety Director is responsible for overseeing hyperbaric treatments, ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed. This role involves the development, coordination, and implementation of safety and regulatory standards to create a safe environment for therapeutic patient care, in accordance with the Standards of Practice, policies, procedures, and NFPA99. The CHT/Hyperbaric Safety Director acts as the primary resource for staff regarding safety, maintenance, and system compliance for the hyperbaric program. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of patient hyperbaric treatments, staff training and competencies, and adherence to standards of care and safety in treatment delivery, while maintaining patient and environmental safety at all times. Candidates must complete and pass required medical screening, background checking, and drug testing.
Requirements
- Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification.
- Ability to complete and pass required medical screening.
- Ability to complete and pass background checking.
- Ability to complete and pass drug test.
