About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join Seniors Helping Seniors Jersey Shore North. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in the Monroe, NJ area. As a CHHA, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Monroe, NJ.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health care or elder care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to nursing staff and family members.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet clients' needs.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
