Seniors Helping Seniors Jersey Shore North is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to provide exceptional in-home care for our clients in Monroe, NJ. Requirements
- Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in New Jersey.
- Experience in providing compassionate home health care preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in Monroe, NJ.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts based on client needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers as needed.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their well-being.
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
