About The Position

BAYADA is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) for its ACSP Division to serve adults in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties in New Jersey. Aides provide one-on-one personal care, household support, and companionship to help clients remain safe and independent at home, following a written plan of care from a registered nurse. Training is available, including assistance with the application to become a CHHA through the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing. Courses are offered on a month-to-month basis, with a stated all-inclusive price of $250. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide light housekeeping and home management support, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Assist with feeding, including oral feeding.
• Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders or assistance.
• Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
