About The Position
Cabrillo Hospice is growing and looking for experienced, compassionate Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) who are passionate about end-of-life care and supporting patients and families with dignity.
Requirements
- Active California CHHA certification (required)
- Comfortable working in home-based settings
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Hospice experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
- Support patient comfort, safety, and emotional well-being
- Observe and report changes in condition to the clinical team
- Follow individualized hospice care plans
- Offer guidance and support to family caregivers
