Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be a CHHA or CNA with a valid certification through the state of Oklahoma
- Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Pass state required background check
- CPR certification
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Proven experience in personal care and/or home care
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Provide safe transportation for errands and social activities
- Create a safe, supportive environment for every client
