Abernathy Home Care is actively hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care services for seniors and adults throughout Malden, Melrose, Medford, Stoneham, Everett, Revere, Saugus, Reading, Wakefield, and surrounding communities. Requirements
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
- Current TB test or chest X-ray
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
