About The Position

Make Every Moment Matter as a Hospice Aide (CNA/HHA)! Are you a caring and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide looking to make a meaningful impact? Lighthouse Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA/HHA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Valid Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) license OR a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
  • Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in hospice or skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Hospice exp a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
  • Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
  • Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
  • Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Impact patients' families by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, both in the patient's home and within our agency and regulatory standards.
