About The Position

BAYADA is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to provide personal care, household support, and companionship services to adults, helping them live safely and independently at home. The role involves one-on-one client support in counties such as Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem. BAYADA is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization committed to high-quality patient care and employee satisfaction. Training is available for those without prior experience, including assistance with the CHHA application process with the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing, with courses priced at $300. Requirements

Minimum one year work experience.
Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.
A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
A commitment to being present and providing quality care.

Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Commitment to delivering patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Previous home health care or patient care experience.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
Help clients with range of motion exercises.
Assist with ambulation, including transfers and the use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders and assistance.
Perform vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).
